Scenes from the Garden June 7th, 2012

7 Jun

I thought I would share some images with you from Doug’s garden.  Lots has changed since my last round of garden photos.  The lettuce and the sweet peas are over and the rows have been prepped for sweet potatoes.

We have our first bowl of blackberries.  Post of pies soon to follow.

Squash Blossom

Corn is coming up!

Potatoes

Tomatoes

Green beans

We are getting so close to a full-blown harvest.  It is so exciting to watch it all grow.  In addition to the vegetables pictured, we have okra, peppers, artichokes, onions and beets.

We are now getting about a dozen eggs a day from the chickens.

How my life has changed this year, and I am loving it!

I am impressed. Everything looks so good. Are you going to be selling your excess?
