Talk Less. Listen More.

It's Your Turn

I do a lot of talking, but I also do a lot of listening. Most of the time people only notice the first part. Since starting Around Her Table writing has been on my brain nonstop, and I have been able to share a wide variety of information in a short period of time. Many of you have reached out, and I thank you for your kind words. I am enjoying doing this just for fun, but now it's your turn.

I want to listen to what you have to say because I'm not in love with the sound of my own voice lol. So, I'm asking you, whoever you are, to write to me.

Write me anything.

I don't care. A story, something funny, something sad. One sentence, a single word. Tell me about the new business you just started, or about your cat Ferdinand. I just want to listen.

Why? Because I believe it's important for people to hear what other's have on their mind, and if I get to share my thoughts, why don't you?

Head over to the contact page and type a message if you want to remain anonymous (unless your email has your name in it). You can also text, message, dm @chanty_m, or just comment below. Let's see what you creative people have on your minds (oh, and no I'm not sharing these stories or posting them btw).

For those of you who are still like, whaaaat, why, I don't get it. Here's what you need to know. I am the person who will hold a conversation with a stranger I just met on a train. I talk to everyone just for fun. I feel it's important to allow yourself to hear what others have to say and not always be the one saying things. I think people feel they need to have the perfect answer or witty response for someone when they tell you something, but more often people just want to be heard. Thats it. So why not provide a small space for someone to share.

Ears wide open.
